Ripple shows their desire for leadership in financial technology in different plans and strategies. This intention of Ripple manifests itself quite clearly. Thus, the CEO of Ripple pointed out the importance of cryptocurrencies, the global head of strategic accounts of the company announced the cooperation with companies supporting public interests, and Xpring invested in Flare Networks.
Ripple’s different plans: The importance of cryptocurrencies
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said that the value of 99 percent of cryptocurrencies is nil. In the future, almost all cryptocurrencies, according to the head of Ripple, might be completely useless. The only option when they come in handy is being a “solution to real problems”, and on a sufficient scale, said the head of Ripple in an interview with Bloomberg.
I have said publicly before that I think 99 percent of all crypto probably goes to zero, but there is that one percent that I think is focused on solving a real problem for real customers and is able to do that at scale,
That is why the company Ripple seeks to introduce XRP for different needs of society. Thus, Ripple XRP will refer to that one useful percentage of cryptocurrencies. Ripple tries to focus on a specific problem and the specific needs of customers, and this allows them to gain momentum, which will not slow down in the future. In addition, the Ripple CEO said that SWIFT is significantly more volatile, given the low transaction speed. Therefore, Ripple acts as the best alternative.
Public interest & societal cause
According to Ripple’s Global head of strategic accounts, Marcus Treacher, Ripple is now working with firms that support the societal cause. The Ripple spokesperson mentioned the partnership with Rational FX. Rational FX is partnering with the American nonprofit organization Global Giving, which provides a global crowdfunding platform for grassroots charity projects. Ripple also partnered with Xendpay, which is a subsidiary of Rational FX.
