Respawn and EA show first gameplay images from Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

Respawn Entertainment has shown gameplay images of his upcoming game Jedi: Fallen Order. A jedi plays the leading role in this. A mission is shown in which the player has to free a group of captured Wookies from the hands of the Empire.

The game takes place between the events of Episode III and Rogue One, which becomes most concrete at the start when the player sees Saw Gerrera. Saw is a character in Rogue One and is played by actor Forest Whitaker. It is unclear whether the voice in the game is also from Whitaker, but it is getting pretty close anyway.

Respawn has clearly been able to use its experience with platforming in this game: the Jedi Fallen Order also covers a fair amount of difficult terrain. In addition, the player can use force jumps, but also wallrunning, known from Respawn’s Titanfall games.

On the offensive side, the player uses his lightsaber, force push , stopping enemies, projectiles, and objects in the world. Furthermore, the developers state in a panel during EA Play , the E3 event of EA, that fighting with a lightsaber should also become quite profound. They speak of blocking, parrying and deflecting.

Finally, the main character has a personal body droid , called BD-1. The main character has a certain bond with this droid, but he also takes care of the hacking of terminals and other equipment, for example.

The game will be released on November 15 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin. EA has already indicated that there are no micro transactions in the game, and that there is no multiplayer mode.
