Mozilla reveals logo for Firefox with less clear fox

Mozilla has presented a new design for its logos. Firefox and related services, among others, get a new design. With Firefox, the globe is made abstract, while the fox has become less detailed.

The logos use purple, yellow and orange as the most important colors, according to the announcement from Mozilla. Other services under the Firefox name, such as Send, Monitor and Lockwise, receive logos with the same colors in different forms. Probably that will also apply to the upcoming payment service Firefox Premium .

The new logos show a more abstract idea of the fox and the globe, whereby the globe has become smaller. Mozilla has been working on the new design for eighteen months, including the fonts and shapes for backgrounds. The company already showed potential designs last year. The Verge has listed all the iterations of the Firefox logo so far.
