Charles Hoskinson, the CEO of Input Output HK, has revealed a number of innovations regarding Cardano. During an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session, Hoskinson announced that the innovations will see the light this month.
One of the innovations relates to the Deadalus wallet; the official multi-platform wallet for Cardano (ADA). In addition to simply receiving and sending ADA, the wallet has a number of features built-in that enhance user-friendliness and security.
We are going to release the most significant Daedalus update since the Daedalus launch. The bulk will happen in the back-end.
The improvements under the hood will mainly be bug fixes and will make the wallet even more user-friendly. According to Hoskinson, the team behind Daeudalus has been developing the updates for two and a half months. In addition, the team has also improved the back-end of the Haskell wallet.
Hoskinson also points out that a major hackathon will be held in September, in collaboration with the University of Wyoming. In their own words, the event will be an excellent opportunity to demonstrate improvements to the Cardano ecosystem.
