Bitcoin eventually received an A grade from Weiss Ratings and took its place among the top grade assets. With this, Bitcoin became the most technologically and economically advanced digital asset among crypto coins.

On Weiss Ratings’ website, Bitcoin currently ranks top with an A-rating. This is the highest rating Bitcoin has ever received.

Bitcoin received a C + rating in January 2018. Only a month ago, the independent rating agency had upgraded Bitcoin’s rating from B- to B.

Martin D. Weiss, founder of Weiss Ratings, made the following statement about Bitcoin:

After touching bottom in December, Bitcoin quadrupled in value in less than 190 days. And today, the reward it delivers investors outweighs the risks. Its technology has been upgraded. Its network is back to normal.

Bitcoin’s rise to the highest level in the Weiss ranking is a representation of Bitcoin’s technological innovation in many respects.

Updates such as SegWit and transaction grouping helped remove the barriers to the Bitcoin blockchain.

In January 2019, the independent rating agency Weiss Ratings announced that Bitcoin will reach its all-time high and that the leading crypto currency will be massively adopted. At the end of the first quarter of 2019, Weiss Ratings stated that BTC was in the best position to become a popular value storage tool.
