Bitcoin (BTC) again defies resistance at $ 8,300, altcoins mainly show red numbers

Bitcoin (BTC) convincingly exceeded $ 8,000 and $ 8,100 in recent days. Bitcoin has peaked in the last 24 hours, after which it fell back considerably. Now bitcoin sees a nice increase again.

At the time of writing, the price of bitcoin (BTC) is $ 8,286 according to CoinMarketCap after rising 2.12% in the last 24 hours. The total market capitalization of the cryptocurrecy market is currently $ 264 billion. Bitcoin’s market capitalization is $ 147.3 billion, bringing the bitcoin dominance to 55.8%.

Bitcoin started yesterday mainly with a sideways movement, but in the afternoon the course started to rise rapidly. Bitcoin eventually peaked at $ 8,329. Then the price fell back to just under $ 8,200, where support seems to be currently.

Since early this morning the race has started to rise again. At the time of writing, bitcoin has once again arrived at the resistance, which is around $ 8,300. This resistance level has tested the course twice so far but was unable to break out convincingly both times.

If the price succeeds this time, it is possible that bitcoin will rise further. The next resistance above $ 8,300 is around $ 8,500.

The rest of the top 10 cryptocurrencies based on market capitalization show the majority of red figures. Binance Coin (BNB) is the biggest loser with a decrease of 6.3% in the last 24 hours. The only cryptocurrency that shows an increase in addition to bitcoin is currently bitcoin cash (BCH) . With a value of $ 410.8, that altcoin is more than 2.3% in the plus.
