The CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), received quite a bit of criticism after he sent a somewhat unbelievable tweet to the world. In that tweet, CZ claims that he “had a conversation with a 14-year-old boy” who “didn’t want to discuss amounts in USD”.
In the tweet, CZ wrote the following:
Had an interesting conversation with a 14 year old today. He refused to discuss amounts in USD and insisted on using #BNB for that. The next generation will be #CryptoNative.

CZ received a lot of laughable responses to the tweet. His followers would find the tweet unbelievable. For example, the Twitter user “Crypto Angel” responded with:

Whether CZ meant the tweet seriously or whether he wanted to make a point in one way or another has not yet been clarified by the CEO of one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges. The Twitter user ‘Dumbest Crypto Tweet Award’ nominates CZ’s tweet in any case for “the Most Stupid Tweet on Today’s Crypto Twitter”.
Binance coin (BNB) is one of the most successful altcoins of 2019. The native cryptocurrency of the Binance ecosystem started the year with a value of $ 6 and managed to rise to a yearly high of $ 39.30 in June. Investors who were lucky enough to buy BNB at the start of this year and then sell it in June saw a return of no less than 555%. Since then, BNB has fallen back slightly, putting it back below $ 30.
