During its E3 press conference, Bethesda presented a new game play trailer from Wolfenstein: Youngblood. The trailer shows, among other things, how the twin daughters of the protagonist from the previous parts are fighting the Nazis in Paris.
The twin daughters Jess and Soph are on a mission to find their father William “BJ” Blazkowicz, the main character from the previous parts of Wolfenstein. Among other things, the trailer shows new weapons, environments and enemies. There is also a possibility to play co-op as one of the two sisters. The game has a release date of July 26.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood is set in Paris in 1980, in an alternative reality in which the Nazis won the Second World War. Previous parts in the Wolfenstein series also took place in a timeline where the Nazis dominate the world. In Wolfenstein: The New Order , it was up to BJ to eliminate Nazi leader Totenkopf. The next part, Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, is set in a United States that is controlled by Nazis and indoctrinated Americans.
